Stan Lee's Comikaze Expo 2012 - Video and Photos Our outing to the 2nd annual Comikaze Expo.

For those who have not heard, the Los Angeles Convention Center recently hosted the 2nd annual Comikaze Expo with Stan Lee and Elvira. You can check out our video and photo coverage from last year if you like. Part of the appeal of Comikaze is that it is a much more affordable convention than most and, while the prices went up from last year, this is still true.

This is only the 2nd year this Expo was held and it has grown significantly since last year. As Daisy pointed out in her rant on this year's expo there were a lot of problems, not the least of which was the awful line people had to wait in. Despite the problems, though, we were able to have a great time that weekend. Personally, much of the fun comes simply from being there, walking around, taking pictures of the cosplayers, resisting the temptation to buy every board game I see and just enjoying the energy and atmosphere of geek/nerd/gamer community. We plan to attend again next year and continue to share the experience.
